Display and Audio Redesign Simultaneously Serving Multiple Groups
In 2026, Gage Bowl celebrated 65 years of serving their community, and owner Jason Altman wanted to mark the occasion with something special. His vision: transform the bar into a premier sports destination with an upgraded AV experience worthy of the milestone.
The challenge was building a system that stayed within budget, was easy enough for staff of all ages to operate confidently, and could be completed before the World Series.
We designed and installed a 10-display video distribution system using AV Pro Edge with 7 sources, paired with Theory Professional in-ceiling speakers throughout. Previously, karaoke nights were limited to a single TV. Now, the system can mix and match any combination — karaoke lyrics on some screens, a big game on others — serving different groups of guests simultaneously and elevating the overall experience.
Audio is powered by Theory's professional in-ceiling speakers — powerful, discreet, and capable of being split independently per zone. We integrated their existing jukebox player into the new system, so the jukebox can play in one area while a completely different audio source plays in another. Everything is controlled through QSys with a simple, custom user interface. We trained the full staff before launch, and the new sports bar setup is already generating increased revenue.
